Delta operates 3 daily flights between Montreal and New York-JFK daily. Currently only SkyTeam partner airline WestJet and US Competitor American Airlines operate this route.

Demand never usually warrents a big aircraft. Being as though Montreal is not a Delta hub, this route will generally get a Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, fittingly a Canadian product built not far from Montreal.

The best way I can put this aircraft is that it feels like you’re flying a regular Spirit or Frontier flight as far as passenger comfort. There is no First Class option. The first row is branded as “Comfort+”, although you’re reward is basically sitting in the cockpit.

To make up for the lack of passenger comfort on this route, the views were pretty spectacular on this morning flight.
