FMS 1/12 Suzuki Jimny 4WD Crawler RTR First Driving Video! Scale Off Road Crawling Performance!

First off-road test of the extremely scale FMS 1/12 Suzuki Jimny 4WD Crawler.

In terms of performance, this vehicle has a solid axle, 3-link suspension system mated to a 2 speed high/low gearbox. Low gear approximately tops out at under 5 km/h, but provides a lot of torque and control. High gear approximately tops out under 10 km/h and is just faster than a brisk walking pace--perfect for taking on a hiking/trekking trail.

The differentials are locked front and rear, so the turning radius may be wider than you would expect for a vehicle of this size. However, having the differentials locked allows this vehicle to keep moving forward when one of the wheels lose traction.

Ride height is what is to be expected for a "daily-driver" type vehicle, so cautious line choice will pay great dividends and improve your driving experience greatly. The suspension can use a bit more damping, but I will attempt cover what we can do about this in a future video.

Tires are scale replica Dunlop all season radials--very scale in appearance, and deformation, but also exhibits scale performance in terms of lack of off-road traction when pushed to the limit.
