Anatoly Kiriyak's Electronic Music Compilation (C. 1985-1991)

Born October 9, 1953. The parents of the future composer were deported to Siberia, Anatoly was brought up from early childhood at the monastery. In 1956, his parents returned from exile, the same year Anatoly's brother, Theo, the future writer, was born. In order for Anatoly to learn his native language, he was sent to his grandmother's sister, who was a nun in the monastery, and since she was blind, little Anatoly accompanied her to the service. So gradually, he learned our Father, then his first song “Peserike mute-tz kuybul”, spoke in his native language.

In 1979 he graduated from the State Conservatory. Gabriel Muzichesku in Chisinau (now - Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts) in class composition. At the end of the Conservatory, Anatoly Kiriyak worked as a teacher at the Musical College named after Stefan Nyagi in Chisinau.

He makes his debut as a composer with the song “Des Hash avya ...”, to the verses by Mihai Eminescu, performed by Stefan Petrak. During 1978 and 1980. is the leader of the pop group Sofia Rotaru, and in 1987 he created his own instrumental ensemble “Anatoly Kiriyak”, with which he toured around the country and abroad.

Many of his songs became the hits of “Romantic”, “Spring will come”, “Watch”, “Youth is a flower”, “Song of Zamfira” and others performed by Sofia Rotaru, Sylvia Kiriyak, Anastasia Lazaryuk, Olga Chiolaku and others. He also collaborated with singers from neighboring countries: Russia, Ukraine and Romania.

A. Kiriyak wrote lyrics to Grigore Vieru, Theo Kiriyak, Anatoly Ciocanu, etc. He composed music for children's films, as well as a whole series of instrumental pieces, one of the most famous ones called “Michaela”, this melody sounded constantly during the times of the Soviet Union in the TV program “Time”. He has 12 pop music CDs.

Anatoly Kiriyak works in several musical genres composed: variety, symphonic, vocal-symphonic, chamber-instrumental music and. etc.

From 1990-1993, A. Chiriac was a member of the first parliament of the Republic of Moldova. Currently, he is the head of the Michaela Society of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations - the first company in the impresario; he is also the president of the Association for Copyright and Related Rights (AsDAC). Currently continues to compose music.

He was awarded the Boris Glavan Prize for Youth and the Medal for Civil Merit.
