New Blood Thinner: Xarelto

Xarelto (Rivaroxaban) is a new alternative for the prevention of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation. With its introduction, we now have the oldest option Warfarin (Coumadin) and another new alternative Pradaxa (Dabigatran) to choose from when treating our patients.
