Homemade log jack
I made this log jack after buying and evaluating a cheap version from Tractor Supply. My version is much more sturdy.....but just a little heavier. I'll take the trade off in weight for the ability to lift any size log I come across. This device really does make bucking fallen trees more effective. Not only does it keep your chain out of the ground, it lifts the log up a little so your not always bending over. The T.S. version of the log jack was converted over into a pickaroon and Log Ox.
