How to get to Atimpoku

The town can be accessed from all parts of Ghana. Accra the capital of Ghana is about 65 kilometres from Atimpoku and Tema is also 50 kilometres away. However, if you start you trip from the north of Ghana and you will have to go through the eastern corridor and you will cross over the Adomi Bridge. The bridge is linking the Eastern region and the Volta region of Ghana.
Traveling to Akosombo (from Tema centre about 76 km), the bridge will be on your right hand side. Akosombo port; Trave further by ferry to Northern Ghana. You may take your car (small), on the ferry. Travel time about 30 hours, via Lake Volta.
The bridge connects parts of the Eastern Region and Juapong in the North Tongu District, Ho, Hohoe and other towns in the Volta Region.
