Noche de Campeones y Milongueros en Club Glorias Argentinas

Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Club Glorias Argentinas (until 4am Friday). Oscar Hector Malagrino invited tango champions and milongueros to dance exhibitions. Each couple danced solo and then all danced one tango together for this finale. It was the most unforgettable night of tango in my 11 years in BsAs because there were so many milongueros who just came to dance. A night like this could only be organized by Oscar Hector who has been hosting dances continuously since 1963.

Among the long list of those who participated were Julio Duplaa with his wife Elsa [:01-06], Jorge Manganelli [1:00-1:10], Victor Romero and Norma Galli (2nd place Tango Senior 2008) [:48-58], Jorge Norberto Garcia and Susana Soar [:28-30], Lito y Lidia Filippini (Metropolitano Champs 2004) [:07-:16], Graciela Cano (Metropolitano Champ 2005) [:16-:20], Alberto Markus and Ana Maria Polito (Metropolitano Senior Champs 2010) [:23-:27], Osvaldo Cartery and his wife Luisa Ines "Coca" (World Champs 2004) [1:23-1:26] and Juan Ventura Esquivel [1:45] with Thomasina Gabriel of Portland, Oregon USA.

Suzy Tilbe [1:10] is dancing with Eduardo Ereson (white hair, gray suit).

Among the milongueros in attendance were Eduardo Calo with milonguera Betty, Domingo Crudo with milonguera Myriam Morales, Carlos Alberto Anzuate, Osvaldo Ruben Bottino, Mario Allan "Alito" Candamil, and Nestor Leon with milonguera Elba Pateiro.
