today we’re going to be tier ranking comebacks for the month of October. Now, september wasn’t it but I must have grown a heart or something because I was just touched by so many songs this month. But anyways, for those who are new here, I’ll explain my tier ranking system, but if you know the drill, I’ll put putting some super fancy timestamps so you can skip through to groups or soloists you like most, or watch the whole thing.

So the category at the top is song of the year, and this is pretty difficult to get into because i’m picky as hell, so these are songs that from first listen I fell in love with, and I downloaded on to my spotify playlist, which is super exclusive but i digress.

The category below this is cup of milk, also known as song of the week. This category is for songs that we may love, may have downloaded but have a short shelf life and didn’t last too long, because I do listen to the same handful of songs, every single day. So it needs longevity to be song of the year. These are also songs that I might love, but just fit a certain mood or vibe that isn’t for everyday.

The third tier we have is 2nd gen vibes, it’s almost the perfect middle tier. We can appreciate these songs for sure, we acknowledge they are good songs, they can have actual 2nd gen vibes or maybe they are just songs that if they randomly played, you’d totally enjoy them but not enough to make it to the playlist.

Below this, we have everyone’s favourite tier, yg’s dungeon. These are songs that either need a time out, maybe needed more planning, more production, more time to simmer. They can also be songs I just didn’t pay enough attention to, do you get it? Yeah, we all do unfortunately.

And the last tier we have is not my cup of tea, and these are songs that can be amazing songs, but they don’t fit my personal style or songs that just don’t sound good to me at all.
