密着24時！願望を突き詰めた部屋 - Otaku Room Photographer

部屋というのは、得てして住人の内面が反映される空間だ。それがいわゆるオタクともなると、願望と個性を突き詰めたものであるはず。そしてそれは、近代日本に生きる若者たちの分手か的象徴なのかもしれない。

今回VICEは、オタク部屋を撮り続けて写真集を刊行した写真家・川本史織氏と共に、オタク部屋の世界を紐解く。

"Otaku Room Photographer" Shiori Kawamoto is a photographer who has a special interest in documenting other people's rooms, often crammed with Anime figurines and posters. His theory is that documenting people's rooms are a way of revealing who they are, especially in regards to 'Otaku'.
