One of our little visitors who come here to eat every day, starting in the spring. This footage of an Anna hummingbird was shot at 7:30pm. I found it was a bit hard to get a good focus at this time of early evening but did my best, not to scare the hummingbird.

We always make sure to have fresh hummingbird food ready each day which is a mix of 4 cups of spring water (boiled and cooled) with 1 cup of sugar. We also replace their food every 3 or 4 days. Any left over food can store safely in the fridge. Never use food coloring in their food since food coloring is known to be harmful to these tiny birds. Their feeder should also be cleaned regularly.
