Real(?) Rype Reviews: Is Rype a scam?

In this quick video I take a look at supposed 'real' reviews published to the Rype website.

Does it seem fishy to you, too?

Here are the three fishy parts about these Rype Reviews posted on the official rype website, that I discovered:

1. They are unbelievably positive and do not sound natural AT ALL.
2. The posting pattern is very sporadic. Instead of the expected trickle of reviews, Rype receives a HUGE batch of reviews on the same day, and then nothing for days, before receiving a large batch again.
3. There hasn't been a new review since 2018! So, either nobody is using Rype at all, or these reviews are just not genuine.

Why would you have a link on your homepage to a collection of reviews that hadn't seen a new review for over 2 years?

This video is part of a much longer post and investigation where I try to figure out if Rype, founded by Sean Kim, is a scam or a legitimate business.

My conclusion from the post is that while I'm seeing a lot of shady practices by Rype, and a lot of unsubstantiated claims, I haven't found anything to directly suggest they are a scam at this point.

I invite you to make your own conclusions by reading the post, and as always be buyer aware when signing up to subscription services.
