Stand Analysis - Tusk EXPLAINED || Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run

Johnny Joestar received his Stand Tusk after finding the left arm of the Saint's Corpse in Steel Ball Run. Mixing Tusk's nail shooting abilities with his knowledge of the Spin technique, Johnny is able to Evolve his Stand Tusk into new forms the further he expands his knowledge. In this video we take a look at all 4 Acts and analyse it's appearance, abilities and strengths/weaknesses. I also throw in some of my own theories.

Tusk is the Stand of Johnny Joestar, the alternate universe version of Jonathan Joestar. Along with his trusted companion, Gyro Zeppeli, the duo set out on a journey to acquire the Saints Corpse parts to keep them away from the President of the USA, Funny Valentine.

Johnny's Stand; Tusk, is an evolving Stand which features in Part 7 of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga: Steel Ball Run. Tusk came to Johnny when he acquired the left arm of the corpse, eventually joining him and linking with his spirit.

As Gyro steadily teaches Johnny more about the Spin technique across Steel Ball Run, Johnny managed to evolve his Stand, Tusk, into Act 2, Act 3 and eventually Act 4.

Tusk Act 1 is a juvenile, mammalian Stand which helps Johnny locate the next Corpse Part, and giving him the Spinning Nails ability. This makes Johnny able to shoot off his names like sharp bullets.

Next, it evolves to Tusk Act 2 which allows Johnny to create jet black bullet holes which lock onto a target. The infinite spin on his nails create this ability.

Tusk Act 3 allows Johnny to shoot himself with his own nail bullets, creating a spatial wormhole in which Johnny can hide in. These wormholes also allow Johnny's body parts to travel away from his main body and shoot his nails from better vantage points.

Finally, we have Act 4, deployed by Johnny accessing the ultimate Spin technique, the Golden Spin. Incredibly difficult to pull off, Johnny uses this gravity-defying Stand to defeat Funny Valentine for good.

This Tusk Stand Analysis was one that I had an interest in doing for a little while but I was worried how it would turn out considering there is a lot of information to research for this. Tusk ACT 4 is one of the strongest Stands in all of JoJo so I had to make sure I got everything correct.

Tusk Act 4 is also capable of doing the Ora Ora Stand Rush, which was an amazing sight to see. Tusk Act 4's Infinite Rotation is a super powerful technique which Funny Valentine was very lucky to escape.

This was a mammoth task to create a video based on Tusk, as I essentially had to analyze Stands in 1 video. I hope you enjoy this video.
