PNW Families March for Women
A crowded street demonstration attended by many tens of thousands is not usually the first place a parent may wish to bring their young child. But on January 21, 2017, over 120,000 people in Seattle participated in a march — one of hundreds of sister marches occurring worldwide — to protest incoming President Trump’s policies and treatment of women. Among the protesters were groups of families and children, and we meet some of them and hear their reasons for marching.
