How to Turn The Hips Correctly In The Downswing | Milo Lines Golf

Learn The Simple Way The Hips Turn In The Downswing

Announcement: We will be launching my new membership site at MiloLinesGolf.com in the next few weeks (first week in January). You will be able to submit your swing for analysis, as well as see dozens of videos with golf swing drills, fixes, instruction, and lessons.

End Goal: Hips open at impact, with weight on your left heel. Lead hip still behind foot at impact and beyond.

Use the ground to rotate your hips correctly. Do not push off with your foot. That will create a slide, blocked hips, and no room to rotate through freely.

Halfway in the downswing (P6) you are in a squat position, and the lead leg is still bent but ready to straighten and go upwards creating a massive rotation of your lead hip. This will give you all the room you need to rotate left as hard as you want.

The end result will be a huge increase in compression of the golf ball; consistent strikes, and a penetrating ball flight that will be a thing of beauty to watch.

I'm fortunate enough to have golfers from all over the US come to beautiful Arizona and Superstition Mountains to take golf lessons with me.

To book a lesson you can email me at golfletics@gmail.com or call 801-400-3161
