ST. PATRICK'S DAY: LAS VEGAS (Part II) | FREMONT | FINAL SLOT PLAY BEFORE SHUTDOWN: PLAZA | 03/17/20

(March 17th, 2020) Day 3 - Part 2: We find out that the Governor of Nevada has ordered all casinos to completely shutdown. Gaming is ordered to stop by midnight and all casino hotels have 24/48 hours to vacate their hotel guests. This meant that our existing reservation for Thursday, March 19th, at the Plaza has been cancelled and that we will need to check out of the Cosmopolitan by 3 p.m. the following day (Wednesday, March 18th). Our Vegas vacation will officially end 5 days early. The shutdown was inevitable; it was only a matter of time and we were going to make sure that we would enjoy every last minute of all that Vegas could offer before it was all over.
