After a long time of trying several settings, these are the best EOS 7D Mark II settings I've found for shooting aviation photos. I delve into the complete menu system, including the sophisticated autofocus system and set up back-button focussing. I discuss the differences between shooting fast jet aircraft and slower propeller aircraft and the changes needed. I also save the camera settings for each aircraft type in the custom shooting modes. These settings may not be for everyone but they are the settings I've found which work best for me and a long 150-600mm telephoto lens.
