Baby Wildebeest Almost Becomes the First Victim of the Mara River

We've been treated to a few awesome crossings so far in the Mara, but the chaos and confusion sometimes means being separated from mom. This baby wildebeest looked both confused and alone as it gnued away on the banks of the Mara River, as hungry crocodiles watched on hopefully. The youngster eventually made a daring dash across the river and luckily came out unscathed!
