Fugazi, also known as the EP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_play) 7 Songs,[7] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugazi_(EP)#cite_note-:0-7) is the debut release by the American post-hardcore (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-hardcore) band Fugazi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugazi_(band)) . As with subsequent release Margin Walker (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margin_Walker) , Guy Picciotto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Picciotto) did not contribute guitar to this record; all guitar was performed by Ian MacKaye (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_MacKaye) . It was originally recorded in June 1988 and released in November 1988 on vinyl and again in 1989 on the compilation release 13 Songs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13_Songs_(Fugazi_album)) along with the following EP Margin Walker (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margin_Walker) . The photo used for the album cover was taken on June 30, 1988 at Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey.
