More than 1,000 arrested in LA protests
More than 1,000 arrests have been made across Los Angeles after protesters swarmed the streets, breaking the city’s strict curfew.
Reports of vandalism and looting have also emerged in the city as thousands protest against police brutality following the death of George Floyd.
The city has implemented its harshest stay-at-home order since race riots nearly 30 years ago, with the military deployed on the streets to control violent demonstrations.
