Guided tour of West Point Military Academy.

Our tour guide was...Sarah. I had my doubts at first because she was...young( and very athletic looking). She was actually very professional and kept the tour lively. She was very knowledgeable on the facts & history of West Point (guilty! Yes. I later Googled, much of what she stated, to learn a little more).
The tour rapidly moves, but at a pace where you can get-off the bus and get images and video. Sorry. Us civilians cannot simply wonder about West Point, as it is an active military reservation. The views of the Hudson, are gorgeous (probably even more so in the Winter).
Our tour began at the West Point Visitor Center. After the tour, you can visit the West Point museum. Quite fascinating to view the history of warfare and weapons.
My only complaint (every Real American, has a complaint)...would be the gift shop at the Visitor Center. Very expensive. Why? Everything you buy has the Nike "Swoosh," logo. And you're paying for Nike. A few shirts are priced at $20.00. But if you want a sweater or jacket...better bring your credit card/checkbook.
Forgive me...I forgot the name of the bus driver. But she was professional, as well.
The next time, I think I'll lose the tour group just to take pictures. I'm sure the MP's will understand if I wear my Marine Corps hat and 45th President jacket.
