We are joined today with Stuart from our Glasgow store who is going to give us all the ins and outs of this exciting new release from Taylor guitars.

About the new Taylor GT:
The Taylor GT (short for Grand Theater) introduces a new category of acoustic guitar size, feel and sound.Fitting between a GC and GS Mini, the GT borrows the curves of the Grand Orchestra but in a scaled-down form. It has a 24-1/8” scale length which adds to the overall comfort and playability of the guitar.

Don't let its size fool you though - it is more than capable of filling a room with its rich sound! The result is a guitar that's incredibly fun and easy to play, with a big sonic personality worthy of any pro player's toolbox.

More and more players are drawn to the playing comfort of smaller acoustic guitars but don't want to sacrifice tone. This idea spurred Taylor master guitar designer Andy Powers to develop a new guitar that delivers on both fronts - combining the inviting playability of a compact instrument with the rich voice of a full-sized, solid-wood guitar.

We have a feeling that this new body size is going to be an instant favourite of many.
