We review the Sony A8 (also marketed as the Bravia A8H in the USA), a 2020 4K OLED TV from the Japanese brand. Topics covered include near-black handling, colour accuracy, motion performance including X-Motion Clarity 120Hz BFI, upscaling, gradation, HDR including Dolby Vision, and input lag for gaming.

Our review sample is the 65-inch Sony KD-65A8, but the Sony A8 is also available in a smaller screen size of 55 inches (model number KD-55A8).
