The Strength in Crying focuses on the stereotypical guidelines boys grow up with, specifically when it comes to their emotions, the tabooed ways of expressing them and the long term effects of their suppression. Through his talk, Taha Qureshi hopes to spark the beginning of a monumental change that could result in the obliteration of the dated phrase 'Boys don't Cry'. Taha Qureshi is an enthusiastic performer and storyteller in the making.  He has always held literature and the performing arts close to his heart and aspires to have a platform through which he can get a wide range of people talking about things that matter. Doing the most with every opportunity he gets and always looking to explore wider horizons, Taha has strong opinions on many relevant issues in today’s fast paced world, and is passionate about using his skills as a writer and performer to bring a positive change in society and redefine how people of different backgrounds are perceived by the world.
