It will be a largely fine night although some low cloud will creep into north and east Scotland as well as eastern England where some patchy fog and frost may form by morning. A few showers will pass over Orkney and Shetland while another area of cloud will move into southwest England by morning. Temperatures will hold up in double figures in the far southwest but much chillier elsewhere. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the evening of 24/04/2026
