1. Conduct of MDUPGET, 2025 for Selection of Candidate
a) The MDUPGET 2025 is conducted by the Madhabdev University Post Graduate Entrance Test
(MDUPGET) Board, Madhabdev University.
b) The MDUPGET 2025 shall be conducted for all candidates for the academic programmes mentioned
below irrespective of the University from where they have passed the qualifying examinations.
The Subjects areMA .in: Assamese, Economics, English, PoliticalScience, Sociology, History, Philosophy, Education
M.Sc.in: Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology
2. Selection criteria for admission:
a) 30% Percentage of total seats of each Department is reserved for the students graduated from
Madhabdev University with minimum 6 CGPA in the concerned subject is to be decided. However the
candidate shall be selected on the Merit of MDUPGET 2025.
b) 70% Percentage of seats reserved for students of other Universities is to be decided.100% weightage
on percentile basis shall be given to any of the entrance tests in addition to the fulfillment of minimum
eligibility criteria. However the candidate shall be selected on the Merit of MDUPGET 2025. If vacancy
exists, candidates may be considered on the basis of merit marks of entrance test.
c) The selection and admission shall be purely provisional and subject to production of relevant
documents of the qualifying examinations with requisite norms before the University. An Undertaking
shall also be taken from the admitted students in this regard.
d) Statutory Reservation and Relaxation Policy shall be followed as per the Government Rules by the
University while preparing the Merit List of the Candidates.
3.
Nature of the MDUPGET:
The MDUPGET shall be of 100Marks and of 2(two) hours duration.
a) It shall be conducted in a single paper of the concerned subject containing 100 Objective type Multiple
Choice questions (MCQ) carrying 1 (one) mark each.
