Clearing a plugged culvert

Using a Honda high pressure water pump, hose and 1" sch 80 PVC pipe to clear a hole through a plugged culvert.
Note that this is a smooth interior wall plastic culvert plugged with mostly sand and light gravel. This technique is much less likely to work with older corrugated plastic or steel culvert pipe, especially if roots have found their way into the clog.
Once the culvert was opened and the inlet and outlet ends cleared to keep more sand and gravel from plugging it, rainstorms washed it clear and it has not plugged since as I keep the inlet and outlet areas cleared.
