A moving medley of Rodger & Hammerstein songs from a televised tribute. It starts with a choral reading of a medley of the reprise of "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" (from THE SOUND OF MUSIC) and a line or two of both "Some Enchanted Evening" and "Happy Talk" (from SOUTH PACIFIC) that morphs into the New York Gay Men's Chorus' beautiful reading of "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" (also from THE SOUND OF MUSIC), which blends into Patti LaBelle's entrance with an astounding version of "You'll Never Walk Alone", one of the duo's greatest songs. It should move you to simultaneous tears and joy (unless you're a robot).
