Drunk Driver Found Guilty in Death of 12-Year-Old Boy Scout
A jury convicted a man in the death of a Long Island Boy Scout. Thomas Murphy was found guilty of vehicular homicide in the death of 12-year-old Andrew McMorris. The man had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit, but his attorney argued that Murphy’s obesity made the blood test inaccurate. The trial proved harrowing for Andrew’s grieving parents, so Andrew’s friends in Boy Scout Troop 161 marched into court to show their support. #InsideEdition
