• Membrane Use: Uncoupling membranes (e.g., Schluter Ditra-Heat, Laticrete Strata Heat) are commonly used to secure heating cables, manage spacing, and protect tiles from subfloor movement.
• Tile Setting: Tiles are laid over the heating elements/membrane using latex-modified or epoxy-modified mortar.
• Elevation: Expect an increase in floor height, typically between 3/16 to 1/4 inch.
• Electrical: A licensed electrician should install a dedicated circuit for the thermostat. 

Important Tips:
• Do not cut the cable: Purchase the correct size for your room; only the mesh matting can be cut.
