Its been 5 years since our last interview with Veil Of Maya and needless to say things have changed. Last year (2017) they released an album titled False Idol and with this being their first US tour in support of it we figured it would be a good time to catch up with them. In this interview we discuss the recording process for False Idol, the albums theme, and their favorite songs from the release. We also talk about the struggles that come with being in a band for being in a band for over 10 years, the significance JRPG soundtracks have on the bands sound, and wha the future hold for VOM. Currently Veli Of Maya are on tour with Underoath and Limbs, this show was an off-date the only feature Veil and Limbs and was held at Brooklyn's finest metal establishment, Saint Vitus.
