LG TV Red LED Blinks but TV won't turn on - Failed Attempted Solutions

Guys, A quick video to show failed attempts to fix My Dad's LG LED TV.
Apparently the TV just stopped working while being watched. So I thought I should perhaps save him few hundreds before ditching the unit.

Most people don't upload video of failed attempts on youtube, i thought i save some people of time, effort and money by uploading this. At least folks know what doesn't work.
