I performed at the invitation of the WITRYH Escuela de Yoga (www.witryh.org), the Spanish National Yoga Federation, and was joined on stage by the asana dancers Naya, Meila, Yuna, Prema & Kira.

This is a song I composed walking the streets of Budapest on October 18th, 2014. The rhythm of my feet on the sidewalk beat out the rhythm of the tune. At that time I was staying in a small B&B before I rented anywhere in Budapest, and by the time I returned to my little unit by the big wheel on Deák Ferenc tér, the song was almost complete. October 18th is the birthday of someone very special for me, a muse figure who lives in Budapest.

Maybe she is a twin-flame. We were together for many years, but as is the nature of these intense twin-flame connections, broken-heartedness occurred. The purpose of these connections is to take each other closer to God, but often it doesn’t happen in the way one might imagine. One learns about such things as attachment, illusion, sacred mystery and inner alchemy as much through suffering, sacrifice and loss as through any physical togetherness.
