Thousands of Iranian mourners attended the funeral of Ali Larijani and other top Iranian security officials, in the capital Tehran, on Wednesday. Larijani, a veteran politician, was killed in an Israeli airstrike, according to Iranian state media. #iran #israel #politics #worldnews #usa #iranwar

Larijani was killed alongside his son, and his death was confirmed by Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

Larijani was Iran's top security official and a mainstay of conservative politics in the Islamic Republic, known for his pragmatism and ability to build alliances.
