INDIA’S ₹37,500 CRORE COAL GASIFICATION MASTERPLAN

India has approved a massive ₹37,500 crore Coal Gasification Scheme that could turn coal mines into “goldmines” for India’s energy future.

In this video, we decode how coal can be converted into Syngas, and how Syngas can produce Methanol, Ammonia, Urea, Synthetic Natural Gas, Hydrogen and key industrial chemicals.

This project can help India reduce LNG, methanol and ammonia imports, cut the ₹2.77 lakh crore import bill, support fertiliser supply, boost local industries and strengthen India’s energy security.
