This top Sanskrit scholar gave the typical argument that they are too busy to bother about fools like Pollock. He was initially like most traditional scholars who live in cocoons about the world out there (kurukshetra). But I was able to convince him of the importance of responding to influential opponents, in accordance with our tradition of debates. Now we are delighted that he & his very brilliant young students have joined our Swadeshi Home team. More traditional scholars will eventually join. It has been very hard work for 25 years to reach this stage. Thanks.
