PlayStation's next State of Play is happening today, but its announcement initially ended up a little underwhelming revealing that it would only focus on third party titles and indies, with a large focus on Deathloop and specifically pointing out how God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West would not be shown. The question on everyone's mind has been: When is the next major PS5 showcase event happening? Gameplay for God of War Ragnarok is highly anticipated, people want to know the release date for Horizon, and fans are especially curious to see more 2022 games revealed like The Last of Us 2 Factions. Although it should very much be taken with a grain of salt, insiders have reported that August will mark the time we will finally get the long anticipated PlayStation 5 event.
