Stop a Book File From Paginating in InDesign

I used to use books when I had the rare monster project that required a publication be split between multiple InDesign documents because it was so unruly. Ever since I found out that you can use a book for synchronizing styles (and more) WITHOUT messing with the document pagination I use them much more.
