February 14, 2004 - Chris Andersen received the short end of the stick on the judging front in the 2004 NBA Slam Dunk Competition. Andersen's first flush, a reverse two hand swinging windmill, received a paltry score of 42. Meanwhile, the following contestant, Indiana's Fred Jones, received a perfect score of 50 for a strong and clean (albeit plain and routine) one hand bounce dunk. Andersen would finish third.
