I picked these up early in the morning at the New York market in February before popping in to hear Shane Connolly speak at Flower School New York (he’s delightful, by the way). Purple is my favorite color. I don’t wear it much, but when I got married, it’s what I picked for my flowers, and I’d do it again. If you research color a bit, you’ll find it carries a lot of meanings. Royalty is commonly associated with the color, but what stood out to me when I looked at the list today, was wisdom.
