The video is a combination of footage from 5/11 & 5/12/26. It opens with Sandy the sharp shooter, who turns around and does a ps directly hitting Jackie. Jackie watches the ps dripping down from her feathers.... she knows all too well that she will be covered in their poop shots until they fledge the nest! She wears it as her badge of Motherhood!

We have some great closeups of Luna who is sitting up (Sandy is resting by the rails). Jackie & Shadow sure do make beautiful babies!!

Jackie is on the Cactus Snag when she gets strafed by the Resident Red-tailed hawk once again. Only this time she remains on the CS and does not give chase as the hawk flew off. Both Sandy & Luna are doing more wingercising now, strengthening their wings and flapping. Jackie will arrive with a fish and she feeds both Sandy & Luna. When she is finished she goes to the front porch and Sandy & Luna spread the fluff around - they are practicing their nest building skills!!

At the end of the day we have the entire family home at sunset! What a beautiful sight to see Jackie & Shadow perched together in the fading sunlight - a peaceful setting for our eagle family. After Shadow flies off, Jackie returns to the nest and she moves a big stick that was close to Sandy and then puts a smaller stick on Luna. Jackie is aerating the nesting material keeping it fresh - Luna decides to help Mom by moving sticks too! You can tell they are Shadow's kids!!

In the evening hours, Fiona comes back up to the nest and Jackie wingslaps several times as she hears Fiona's little feet scampering by. Finally after several minutes, Fiona gives up and goes somewhere to look for tidbits! Thank you for watching!
