The War on Drugs that never existed.

#enemynation
Candace Owens, Larry Elder, and Thomas Sowell never address the War on Drugs as the main proponent of degradation of black communities throughout the United States as it would point the finger at policies championed by Republican leadership. So instead they parrot paleo-conservative/libertarian talking points from the McCarthy era. This narrative is old, and as un-American as they come. Larry elder often quotes Tupac Shakur in his Prager U videos about not having a father but failed to mention that Tupac's mother was a drug addict and this is why she couldn't hold a job. Like Ben Carson, welfare assisted Tupac's mother during desperate time. Furthermore Tupac NEVER disparaged mothers on welfare or welfare itself. This is evident in arguably 2 of his most famous songs Dear Mama and Keep Your Head Up. In Brenda's Got a Baby, Brenda's parents were junkies, Brenda couldn't afford a baby sitter, so she couldn't hold down a job, then resorted to selling crack, NOT SNAP CARDS! She was never on welfare and instead chose prostitution which ultimately ended her life. The child now has no mother and the cycle continues. This was ultimately an indictment of the LACK of societal support, not welfare. now debunk this.
