EL SALVADOR Trip 2020/Vlog 1 🇸🇻

This week we visited the country of El Salvador! Although it was a short 3 day trip, it was packed with lots of activity and local culture.

We flew into the San Salvador airport through Spirit airlines. One way flight cost $70pp. (I always buy each way separately, more about that later).

Tourist Visa is required for entry, however, it's ready to get for just $12pp at customs counter.

Getting to/ from airport by rental car or private driver. There are also taxis available outside of the airport. Bus service is available but I don't have any experiences or recommendations on that. The car rental service may say that there is a $1000-$1500 deposit, HOWEVER, if you rent a small car, deposit is only $350.

We booked El Salvador Custom Tours To take us around the country for a reasonable rate and reliable service. Airport pickup and drop off to El Zonte was $45.

For our 3 days there, we started at Rancho Lokoo Resort or also known as Rancho Hotel Resort. Make sure you tell your driver Rancho Loco Resort or else you may not find it LOL. They have comfortable beds, air-conditioned rooms, and a restaurant and bar. 2 nights stay was $160.

We dined at the mom and pop restaurants beach side and paid an average of $5 per meal. $2.50 for breakfast.
