Sonic The Hedgehog Movie: Good to Evil

For as damaged as the reputation of videogame movies has gotten, it’s always a pleasure to get one that surpasses expectations. And the same way that Detective Pikachu made a lot of Pokemon fans happy last year, it’s safe to say that the Sonic movie was able to satisfy its own fanbase. With its exceptional visuals and Sonic’s fantastic new character design, great performances with Jim Carrey in particular stealing the show, plenty of references and fanservice, and writing that could deliver both humor and heart... It’s proven to be a solid videogame adaptation.
