How to Tie a Stopper Knot

You don't have to be able to be able to splice your own dock lines to be a good boater, but knowing how to tie a few basic knots is a skill set just about anyone who boats should possess. But beyond those basics are some great knots that not very many boaters know about. One example includes "stopper" knots, which are designed to be tied at the ends of lines to keep them from pulling free of blocks, eye bolts, or even our bare hands.
