In March 2021, WEDF held the digital edition of its flagship World Ethical Data Forum, bringing together journalists, policymakers, academia, security and intelligence professionals, and representatives from organizations including the UN, UNICEF, NSA, CIA, EFF, Mozilla, IBM, PwC, Deloitte, Kaspersky, and ProtonMail.

The event featured global discussions on privacy, surveillance, cyberwarfare, stalkerware, media influence, ethics, information security, political process, and the future of the internet.
