In this tutorial, we will be learning a variation on the traditional granny square that uses spike stitches to close up most of the holes in the square. You can use any yarn & hook for this square. The sample is made in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and a 3.5mm hook. In the tutorial I am using Drops Merino Extra Fine with a 4mm hook.
