These are the words of mystery man, Herold B. Melchart. Nobody really knows who Melchart is or if he even exists. He’s never written a book or done anything noteworthy enough to have his name in an article somewhere. In fact, when one googles his name, there are no results other than the quote I’ve just shared with you. I like to think his uncertain existence further emphasizes the simplicity of enjoying what’s right in front of you --now-- and not being so caught up in the unknown... because, well, there's something quite noteworthy about now. Whoever this man is or was, his words are very dear to me as they represent exactly how I hope to live my life.
