So, making of homemade fishing bait is very simple. To do this, use gelatin and glycerin in a weight ratio of 1:1. To prevent dissolution of the material in water, it is treated with a solution of tannin. Tannin is a naturally occurring cross-linking agent that connects long chains of gelatin molecules (collagen). In nature, such material is easily decomposed by living organisms and does not harm the environment.
