Natural disasters and trade
The WTO has launched a new research project to help countries analyse how trade can help them respond to and recover from natural disasters and build resilience to such events. The launch took place during a seminar looking at this relationship.
Representatives from Haiti, Caribbean and Pacific Islands share their thoughts about the linkages between natural disasters and trade.
