So the story

In the far future set in my AU, Marlin was the eldest daughter of Queen Oyster. Oyster is a pretty content queen, happy with how the kingdom is. Marlin is not. Marlin wants to expand the Sea Kingdom and make the kingdom the richest and most powerful of all the tribes. Oyster always shuts her down and tries to teach Marlin to be happy with how things are and enjoy the peace.

When Marlin hears that trade routes between the continents are being discussed by the other tribes she’s tries one last time to get the Queen to back her idea but once again Queen Oyster says no. Seeing this as the last chance to get the expansion started Marlin takes claim to the throne.

Yeah Queen Marlin is ambitious but she truly believes this will be a great opportunity for the Seawings as at this time they are quite poor compared to the other tribes and she feels they deserve better. She’s gonna miss Oyster but yeah can’t be Queen if one is around.
